I fly my Turbulence D3v2 regularly and love it.

I had forgotten how much I enjoyed glow powered helicopters. It has re-energised my enjoyment for the hobby.

I just started flying nitro again and boy did I miss it. The smoke, long flight times and most of all not having to charge lipos.

I always wanted a D3, I'm sure they're Hirobo Awsome.

Is your d3 fb or fbl? Just curious.

I made a mistake once, but I was wrong?

Its a flybarless v2. The v2 is a completely different heli to the original version. It has a short shaft OS 105HZ-R and goes like a rocket. It has a VBar which seems to work a lot better than the BeastX HD that was in it.

Here is the old SDX Flybar from today.
The last flight, I ran it out of fuel and had an emergency auto and made it out alive. That was the first auto in awhile.

Nice!

I haven't owned an SDX but did own a Sceadu 50 and then a Sceadu Evo 50. They were fantastic helicopters.

Likewise I started with SWM then converted to HPM. I really liked HPM, Hirobo are great control system designers.

I haven't flown in 7 yrs or so. I have some Hirobo Scedues I was going to sell but after reading these posts here, I think I will dust them off and fly them again. When I was flying, I flew these things for many seasons with any problems. Just fly and fly and fly. I only crashed once in a while but I have some of them in flight for 2-3 yrs with no issues at all. Just did regular maintenance on them and just flue the heck out of them. There use to be a guy at Hirobo that gave GREAT customer service.

Keep them flying

Got a friend losing his heli eyesight, and I just took some pictures of his one hover flight Evo 50 that will be up for sale shortly.
Just need a Futaba TX, new hyper 50, 401 w/9254 and 3 9252's, youngblood blades. I'll put in classifieds soon after Oskhosh, just busy now. Let me know if interested then.

Nice that Hirobo parts are available again.

This is very good news. Jeff always offered the best of customer service. I never flew Hirobo machines, but always wanted to give them a shot..... No time like the present

Give one a try and you will enjoy how they fly.

I have owned 12 Evo's, 6 SDX's and several Shuttles plus a Freya .90, only flying three Evo's now.....

Jeff is the best.....

That's a great question. I would say JR since it's also Japanese and their CNC parts are top notch. If SAB ever makes a .50/600 nitro model that would be the way to go. Their parts are also top notch and their packing of the parts are second to none!

I was wondering what was new in the Hirobo world. I assume when you say JR, you are referring the JR models unless Hirobo has a JR.
