when I was younger my clothing choice goes from style first to comfort last...

As I get older its now backwards.

I also drive slower.... Despite having the same sports car Ive had for the last 20 years.

As I get older, Titles and flashy labels have less meaning, its the quality of the contents that Im interested in.

as I get older, the more I see the value in packing a gun everywhere I go.

as I get older, the more value I place in friendships and less value I place on grudges

As I get older I watch the news more... and see connection between situations that when I was younger i could not.

As I get older, the more important it is to give my kids hugs and tell them I love them.... no matter how badly they screwed at the numerous things we ask of them.

showing a preference will only get you into trouble, 90% of everything is crap...

I had a similar problem, at work I had parked my car in rather large parking lot at my work. When I left work and went out to get my car it was gone. There had been some theft activity and that distant parking lot over the last month or so I assume my car had been stolen. I walked back to the guard shack And asked him to call call the police and as he was doing that I suddenly remembered my wife had said early that morning she needed my car for some errands and she drop off her car in place. So I stopped the guard from calling the police went out and looked all over the parking lot for my wife's car and finally found it in a different spot. Boy was I red-faced.

Over The Air TV started reruns of the old Frasier program. I kinda relate to the old man Martin (Frasiers Dad), getting to the point I say what I mean, and don't give a HOOT what anybody thinks.

TVland... never watch it. You cannot go back (nor would I want to).

My dad will watch the commercial for the Bob Hope DVDs for hours. Guess what he is getting for Christmas.

An old geezer became very bored in retirement and decided to open a medical clinic.

He put a sign up outside that said:  "Dr. Geezer's clinic. Get your treatment for $500, if not cured, get back $1,000!"

Doctor "Young," who was positive that this old geezer didn't know beans about medicine, thought this would be a great opportunity to get $1,000. So he went to Dr. Geezer's clinic.

Dr. Young:  "Dr. Geezer, I have lost all taste in my mouth. Can you please help me ?"

Dr. Geezer:  "Nurse, please bring medicine from box 22 and put 3 drops in Dr. Young's mouth."

Dr. Young:  Aaagh !! -- "This is Gasoline!"

Dr. Geezer:  "Congratulations! You've got your taste back. That will be $500".

Dr. Young gets annoyed and goes back after a couple of days figuring to recover his money.

Dr. Young:  "I have lost my memory, I cannot remember anything."

Dr. Geezer:  "Nurse, please bring medicine from box 22 and put 3 drops in the patient's mouth."

Dr. Young:  "Oh, no you don't, -- that's Gasoline!"

Dr. Geezer:  "Congratulations! You've got your memory back . That will be $500."

Dr. Young (after having lost $1000) leaves angrily and comes back after several more days.

Dr. Young:  "My eyesight has become weak --- I can hardly see anything!!!!"
Dr. Geezer:  "Well, I don't have any medicine for that so, here's your $1000 back." (giving him a $10 bill)

Dr. Young:  "But this is only $10!"
Dr. Geezer:  "Congratulations! You got your vision back! That will be $500."

Moral of story -- Just because you're "Young" doesn't mean that you can outsmart an "old Geezer".

Remember: Don't make old people mad. We don't like being old in the first place, so it doesn't take much to get us upset.
