Hi guys

Will the SSL rotor head work on a HPM swashplate?

Thanks!

hi

I finally got this rotor head. I am planning to use it on an Eagle 3 VPUS. What length mast (and part number) do I need for the correct height? The stock one seems too long

Thanks

Per the E3 SSL2 manual, they call out 186mm hole spacing for mast length.

Still no problems, only solutions, governed by MARSHALL AMPLIFICATION. I'm a HIROBO Fan, R U?

Yes figured it out thanks...however the E3 autorotation clutch uses 3mm holes to secure the mast but the new masts use a 3.5mm hole.

Upon inspection I can drill out the holes to 3.5mm but it seems to use very hard steel which HSS bits can't handle.

Do I I have to use a carbide bit for this? Or is there another kind of bit which I can use on a hand drill...I don't have easy access to a CNC machine or a precision drill press

The auto hub has two sizes of holes in it. 3mm pass through for the DTDS GEAR and 3.5 pass through for the main mast. Or are yours all 3mm? The 3.5 has a "notch" below the hole.

Nope the original e3 auto hub (2003) only has 3mm holes. Luckily I was able to find someone with a CNC machine and was able to enlarge 2 of them. Fits perfectly now
