Bought some blades from Helidirect on Ebay. They are SAB 880mm. They call them CCW rotation. I received what I would call clockwise rotation blades. I am not going to send them back, I can always use more blades. I exchanged more than a few emails with them trying to explain that I still want some CCW rotation blades. They are scratching their heads wondering what kind of drugs I am on. I can't seem to make them understand
The part number is SAB-0232-88R, I am guessing the "R" is right hand rotation(clockwise). Not bashing Helidirect, always get great service.

Am I wrong? are these CCW rotation blades?

One really can't tell just by looking at the planform, but the photo with the cross section of the blade (unless the photo itself if mirrored) definitely shows a clockwise rotation blade.

No, you're right. I think something's in the water.

I ordered some ground coffee on Amazon last week. They delivered whole bean (I don't have a grinder). I contacted support about it and they went on and on about the delivery service. I repeatedly told them nothing was wrong with the delivery. I got the coffee. I just ordered ground coffee and they sent whole bean coffee. I think they thought I was talking about UPS Ground delivery. But, I was being very clear. They finally credited my account and told me to keep it. I guess I have to go buy a grinder now.

if it ain't broke, break it.

Check out the package label in the cross section pic. You can read "SAB". It's not mirrored.

Based on the pictures those are CW Asymmetrical blades. Web page seems to have them identified wrong.

CW, viewed from above, based on the asymmetrical chord cross section.

Just out of curiosity, what happened to the cross section? Did the blade get broken. Looks like it was sawed off.

Thats the way they both look. Makes it easy to build different lengths, I bet.

Hey Cudaboy, you have heard of the Taiwanese coffee that is fed to elephants and then gathered up out of the dung? Maybe you could get your dog to eat the coffee beans. Surely he could process them by morning.

Here is a link to the Wikipedia page on the elephant coffee.
