This is truly amazing and beautiful work. I am blown away by the quality and the number of skills you have combined to make it. Maybe you will be tempted to make some more to sell as you have all the moulds and cad drawings.
I am curious to know what sort of universal joint you have used in the drive shaft.

Second flight

Watch at YouTube

Finally in the air. The nose dipping was caused by the agility on the rotor being set to high. Also working on a slower spool up.

Superb! Congrats.

Can you post a photo with a Tx next to it?

So we can really appreciate its size.

Blades

Are you using symmetrical or asymmetrical blades?

Blades

Ok, I figured you would be using asymmetrical blades, as they a more stable! I am trying to figure out the unusual blade sound on your video! My Chinooks never made that blade sound!

I guess the popping is produced by the air coming off the blades going in opposite directions. This is my third Chinook and all have this sound. I kinda like it!
