hi guys, ive got the original trex 700N, the frams are starting to become hard to find, what will i have to change to fit the DFC frame sides? i want to keep my main shaft bearing blocks to keep it the same older width, has it been done before ? any help appreciated

Grand has 13 or so of each frame side for the original N.

That would be a heck of a project.

I would only image you would end up with a Swiss-cheese pattern of holes on the DFC frames as you drill new holes to fit the old V2 parts on the the DFC frames.

When you finished, you would have to have a pretty well detailed diagram ans locations for all the new holes you needed to drill.
Inevitably, you are going to have to buy a new DFC frame at some point and drill all those holes again.

If your main concern is parts availability for the V2 airframe, I don't think you have too much to worry about.

I can still get parts for a 1999 Thunder Tiger Raptor 60/90. And there are a lot more Trex 700 nitros out there.

Believe 1/2 of what you see and none of what you hear.
