House and Senate information links below on who voted to pass the 2012 FAA Modernization act, which is where our special rule 336 lives. Hoping this list of YAY voting reps will help people. The YAYs will be more open to help and it should be a much less tense call to make.

HOUSE

SENATE

Folks, do NOT use this to badger NAY votes! Lord knows what might have made them vote NAY. It's a big bill, so a NAY voter did so probably due to nothing to do with models. I'm providing this info to help make for a more enjoyable call to a YAY. They will be more prone to support the bill and be more understanding. You can probably cut right to the chase and tell them the FAA defied them. That approach might be ill advised on a NAY. If you're unlucky and have only NAYs in your district, well, you might need to take a little diplomacy and sweet talk to see if they understand your plight.

Regardless, ALL these people want to help NICE voters!

Uh, no... Failing all else, I'll begrudgingly register at the last minute on Feb 19, 2016.

Let's NOT! Especially now that AMA says not to.

Hope you're kidding.

It's worth 5$ and a high number to see if it can be fought. Plus, I'm never going to see that number anyway. It'll be buried in my model.

You can proudly display your low number if that makes you feel good. If this thing stands though, every time someone sees your number, you'll forever be known as the guy who cast in his comment to the FAA that he agreed with the law and helped it stand. Not something I'd be bragging about, for sure.

You are stirring up all this trouble about registering, yet everyone is ignoring the real problem which is the revision to this FAA circular.

Why don't you read that and start fighting what really needs to be fought?

I will proudly display my resistance to AMA direction. It will be a badge of honor for me. Registration is not the fight.

stirring up all this trouble
Have you BEEN to the AMA site lately to look at the reactions? You make it seem like there'd be no movement or anger if this thread weren't here. Hello? I'm just one pissed off outspoken person out of many. It's hard to stir things up when they have imploded.

This thing stirred itself.

As for that circular. "Should" fly <400'. "Should" is not directive. As for the "Must" parts, they aren't new. And TFR enforcement? I largely agree with it. That circular doesn't alarm me a bit.

It is a shame that we have a nation of "followers", "believers", and kool-aid drinkers". People forget that our founding fathers helped create a nation of freedom seeking, government mistrusting, and liberty loving individuals.

Our own founding fathers did not trust the government they formed.

Yet everyday we give away our rights, slowly, one by one.

Lemmings that see no wrong in..."just registering", "its only five dollars", "how is that an inconvenience".

All of you who see no wrong in the government slowing intruding in your life should open a history book, read the federalist papers, study the fall of other great civilizations.

The true nature of any government is to take and control power. To have dominion and maintain it. Our founding fathers knew this.

Supreme Court Justice Louis Brandeis said it best when describing the government's "purposes" even when the government and the people believe it might be beneficial.

"Experience should teach us to be most on our guard to protect liberty when the Government’s purposes are beneficent. Men born to freedom are naturally alert to repel invasion of their liberty by evil-minded rulers. The greatest dangers to liberty lurk in insidious encroachment by men of zeal, well-meaning but without understanding."—Supreme Court Justice Louis Brandeis, Olmstead v. U.S. (1928)

Herman Goering, Reichsmarschall of the Germany's Luftwaffe, even know how to mislead and blind an entire nation. Give them a cause, give them a fear, and then lead them to an answer given by the government. And if anyone spoke out against the absurdity of the governmental solution, they were branded as lacking patriotism.

Today anyone that has a dissenting opinion, or has a more conservative view on something, is immediately called racist, bigot, a something-phobic.

People, wake up, smell your country burning around you. Yes, that is Nero in the flames playing his fiddle!

Our rights are only taken away, when you the people, give them up. One small bit at a time.

During the Nuremberg trials Herman Goering said the following:

“Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it’s the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it’s always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it’s a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger.”

Of course those of you that want to ignore history, deny it happened, or brand it racist and bigoted...well the, you would have no idea who Goering was......
