This thread could either serve its purpose or backfire. But I'd like a thread that basically shows solidarity and interest in manufacturers continuing to offer FB models in the future.

Manufacturers. Please give us a choice.

Fellow readers, please echo this with a +1 and/or comments if you share this sentiment. I love the FBL a lot but that doesn't mean I want a sunset on the FB. I'd really like to see at least one FB head per manufacturer. Agree? Post. And spread the word so others post.

Certain helis are more appealing with a flybar head. I would have bought a Synergy E5 if it would have been available with a FB head. I just can't get overly excited about building an airframe and putting a computer controlled propeller on top of it.

I just want to see manufacture's stay in business !

If they can support an obsolete technology that's great

But its not going to happen !

They have enough issues just staying afloat now a days

ageing is manditory maturity is optional

I have the SSZ4 head on my Freya Evo and will not look back. It's still a FB and yet much better than the older heads. Completely "programmable" and tracks on rails.

Prettier, too.

It'll make you not just want to look at it but also fly it.

flybars...

I still have over a dozen flybared helis and will never sell them. I have one of every ms composit hornet ever made... just played with one of them the other day. If guys had to work as hard as we did back then to get a nice hover, this hobby would be half the size it is now, lol

Plus 1 for the FB flew them for 9 years loved them... FBL came around and burnt me out of the hobby because and this is a big one for me being color blind and all the Fbl controllers have red and green lights to program them .. Almost impossible to do without assistance ... Then your always wondering about the settings at the field .... To stressful .... Looking to get back with a simple FB

I learned to fly using Ray Hostetler book "Complete Helicopter Manual". In this book there was a section on FBL rotor head design and development. Ray hinted that this would be the wave to the future but for the present electronics to make it happen were lacking. Now in the present all has changed and we FB pilots have been left in the dust. It reminds me of plank flyers who don't use rudder and call them selves proficient pilots. The FBL rotor head and self leveling devices has made flying these machines so much easier and that is the appeal. You do realize that battery technology ushered in the age of electrics and left the nitro boys sitting by the wayside. If your like me and enjoy FB helicopter because of the simplicity and ease of maintenance than enjoy.

I love my JR Ergo 30 more than any of my other helicopters.

Now I would love a Hirobo Eagle III VPUS AOCC SSZ-V. Nitro powered flybar heaven!

All of my helis have a flybar. They all flew fine so I didn't think I wanted to spend the money to convert them.

I made a mistake once, but I was wrong?
