Well I am going to try to start a new thread of a old build. I am building a Lenmount Comanche rah-66. I hovered it a couple times but everything was sloppy and just not to the standards I personally know I can achieve. There for after receiving some good advise. I striped her down to the shell went back to formula and started all over.

I have remade 10 out of the 20 internal wood parts with a 1.5mm tolerance.

As of today we worked on part and system placement for function and balance.

I am hoping to get the final cut of the bulkheads by the end of this week.

Evan,

Glad to see you started a thread over here. Looks like the reset on the Comanche is going well. Will be watching with interest. Nice job on the woodwork.

Well done, Evan. It is really hard to make the decision to rip an ongoing build to the bones and start again. Good for you. All the best with the build.

bulkheads

I am hoping I can get a dry-fit of all center to nose bulkheads done. I have the center to Fenestron looking good. If all goes well next we get to work out the new rear gear bulkhead configuration.

yes on the vario tail, but no on the head i'm having a hard time getting blades from them. Had a mishap yesterday with the wind and a bad connection on one of my ec5 connections. i'll resolder and go back over all my connections just to re confirm we have no failures.
