Anyone know of a foam blade holder that can be used for a 3 blade head on a 700 size heli?

Maybe... I think at minimum I need a two blade where the blades are held parallel (don't overlap)

Pretty sure sab makes one but the boom cut out might not work with typical boom diameter ??

Doesn't the Trex 700 blade holder have three cutouts?

I cut my own from a dollar store kneeling pad. I had a Trex500 size scale MD500 fuse and cut the lower circle to fit the boom and traced the original holder for the blade slots, then placed them at the correct height. Cut with a long razor knife blade and it works just fine.

It's intended for 2 blades and a flybar/paddle but I bet it'd work really well for a 3 bladed heli

Align HN7072 - a.k.a. kitchen table chair pads

The really nice thing about these blade holders is they can be used to hold the flybar level to the boom when doing setup - it's a flybar setup tool along with being a blade holder. I still have a couple and a 700N with flybar that I still fly

Most people never figured you could use it to level the flybar. Simple and accurate.

it may not be entirely pretty unless you are good at things like getting those rubber foam floor mats from the hardware store and cutting out the holder yourself.A band saw, scroll saw, xacto knife and or box cutter should work to do the job. Make a pattern from a cereal box first, then got to town on the foam and make more than one until your satisfied with your work. If you can find Neoprene foam of the desired thickness after you experiment with the floor mat you can end up with a near pro looking holder, maybe not cnc'd but nice and worthy.

I wonder about the staggered slot on the Align holder, can that be good?
