Guys,

Can you help me out with my new 700L kit.

I've set my swash up so that its level and in middle of travel when all servos at 90 degrees (could possibly go one turn lower).

With the swash at centre of travel (servos 90 degrees) the links for the DFC arms when adjusted to give me 0 pitch, have about 2 mm of thread still visible.

Is the above correct with your setups, or do you wind these in a couple of extra turns, and then raise the swash a couple of turns accepting it's not in the centre of travel?

An option I thought about was to use the links HN7122T links which are just a hair longer and will fill up the current gap?

Regards,

David

Typically, I've raised the swash a few turns to allow the main DFC links to thread in deeper. A thread or two showing is OK.

If I understand your question correctly
You do not need to be concerned with how many threads are showing
on the rod

If you cant pull the ends off the rod by hand
with a strong pull
there isn't anything to be concerned with

ageing is manditory maturity is optional

Thanks guys,

Guess I was more concerned about the remaining threads than I needed to be.

To go along w. what Banshee said, I would worry more about how many threads
are 'inside' the link, than what is showing. 6,7, 8mm deep should be fine.
