My friend has a Trex700 FBL with a YS91SR Hatori pipe, Magnum brass bushing and enya#3 at 1950 blade speed.
He ran it for years and it ran find.
Now when it punches out hard 30-50 feet, descend 30-50 feet and stop the engine drops to about 1/3 of the RPM and then catches back up.
If the punch outs are like a yoyo up and down it holds the RPM.
Any ideas how to fix.

Thanks
Del

I'm not familiar with the AR7100R governor but it sounds like the low throttle point for the governor is set too low. It could also be an overly rich mid needle.

60% of the time, it works every time!

I see it's a rev limiter rather than a governor. Have you set your idle up curve to a flat line 100%?

Yes it is a rev limiter. The Throttle curve is 100%

I tried leaning the top and bottom. Maybe I will try leaning the mid.

Also when calibrating the throttle use idle throttle position as low throttle instead of throttle cut position.
