I see there is a KDS USA web site and I was thinking about getting the 5.5, but I don't want to buy a heli made in China.

Can anyone tell me where they are manufactured?

I just got a used 7.2. Had to put it back together after shipping and I was VERY impressed. Hope to maiden it soon. My first 700 machine and it looks HUGE!!
I was going to buy a 5.5 at IRCHA, but KDS was a no-show this year.

Thanks everyone.

Is it better quality than Gaui as far as the metal and do they use real carbon fiber or is it a carbon frame that they let you assume is carbon fiber but isn't.

I want a new 550 and I'm torn between this and an E5. I don't want another Goblin even though they are a really good bang for the buck.

ooh... an Agile 5.5 or an E5.... that's a tough call....
Quality wise from what I've seen of my 7.2 and my dad's N5, I'd say quality wise it's a draw. The Agile does seem to be a bit beefier in the head and drive assembly.

That is a very tough decision, I like the way the Agile 5.5 looks over the E5. Really like my 5.5 too, great heli.

I just bought one of their older Innova 600 kits and was surprised by the part quality so far. The main frames even have a decorative polished resin coating on the outside face.

I really like the look of the Agile. Kind of corny, but to me, the canopy and style is important. I like the look better than the E5. But the E5 is supporting the USA.

Man this is tough. Are there any glitches or issues with the build? I just want to spend the week putting it together and fly without stuff going wrong. I'm pretty sure I'd get that with the E5, but if it's that way on the Agile, I'll hit the purchase button.

Fwiw, I had Gaui. Flies good but pot metal. Had Goblin. Damn good quality, but mehhhhh....everything is goblin goblin goblin. I want pod and boom again.

If I get something that flies like Gaui, but has quality like Goblin, I'm happy. I don't want to go back to compass either. Don't like the style of any of their new helis. Align wears out to fast. Always chasing a vibe. If there was a JR Forza 550 or Logo 550 XXtreme, I would be a happy man.

Help

FANTASTIC IDEA!!! Once again, trolling comes through with a solution.

1000 internets to you sir. Can't imagine why traffic is down with insight like that. I just love this hobby and the fellowship it provides. Long live RC heli!!!!
