Hello all,

I have an optipower ultra guard 430 that has been sitting on the shelf for about a year. Is there a way to charge and test this battery? Any advise on how to charge it without flying it? Id like to make sure its ready to go if needed.

Connect the Ultra-Guard to your receiver (as it would be normally connected) and power on the receiver.
Don't fly it though.
The Ultra-Guard will suck quite a bit of power out of the battery as it charges.

Or, connect a 2S LiPo directly to the Ultra-Guard's connector. It will power on and start charging.
It will charge itself quite nicely.

The red LED will be blinking as it charges and will stop blinking when it is done

When you unplug the Ultra-Guard, it will still be powered on. Make sure you power it when you are done charging it

The scorpion power gaurd charge cable can be used to charge is like a 2s. I left one for a year and it was done. I bought a cheap glacier to replace.

I have a 3D heli, I don't understand why it doesn't do 3D
