Only 9 dead. Obummer has no plan that will work to stop these from happening. Look at where he was a senator. How are all their gun laws working?. More died there this week then did in this event. Not to even think about the wounded.

The Obummer's is a national embarrassment and a dangerous one.

He still has more than a year to wreak havoc on our nation.

That is what he and his pals intend on doing.

The closer he gets to leaving office, the more damage he will do. He has nothing to loose. America has everything to loose

Last 2 weekends in his hometown Chicago 50 dead ( a number picked up off the news) from gang violence. Where's the "emotional" reaction to that?

What a crock of Bull$hit.

That's all he has, vapid, emotional responses. That is why he can only make problems worse, as has been proven by his track record.
By the way, we had shootings like this when Clinton was Pres. We can do a better job of preventing them by not electing democrats!

Anything is possible if you don't know what you are talking about!

Biggest question is - what gun control would have stopped something like this from happening?

He exposes his own agenda by talking about Australia - where guns have been taken away.

THAT is his plan folks. Total confiscation. Never let a gun control person tell you any different. They just continually look to put their foot in the door, somehow. But when they point to countries without guns, they betray their own agendas because they expose their ultimate goals, their beacons. Their beacon is Australia, the UK, and the like.

Honestly, they are right. The ONLY way to stop gun crime is total confiscation. But imagine the path to get there. Funny thing is, they ignore how many lives would be lost in such an effort. This country would not stand for it without some extreme violence. I think I'd turn mine in so long as it were passed as an amendment, but I know plenty who would go with a fight even if it were passed constitutionally.

A few dozen a year lost in mass shootings would be a drop in the bucket compared to the civil war that would ensue...and what do you want to bet there'd be no emotional reaction? They'd happily crush the uprising and usher in their utopia. It's what they believe. And it's nothing new. Hundred million dead, but what's a few more to usher in some BS utopia.

Funny thing is, you know what DID stop this guy? Was it the "gun free zone" sign? Hell no. It was good guys with guns. Just like it is every time.

But when you have an agenda you will ignore facts that go against your agenda and proceed with those that fit your agenda. It's called confirmation bias.

Oh by the way, did he even mention the fact that Christians were being specifically targeted?

Or do we only mention the motive of the shooter when it's politically expedient?

Its called careful administration of drugs, as well as managed response training.

I'm not sure I'm ready to go there...but I'm convinced that specific zones where the law abiding will be unarmed is an invitation for evildoers.

And that their perpetuation may be intentional.

Of course Obama is getting emotional.... How many of these have happened while he has been president? (Ive lost count) What has been done about it? (absolutely nothing, thanks to stonewalling by congress.

We have more of these mass shooting rampages than any other first word democracy. Don't you guys wonder why?

#1 - We have the easiest access to guns of any civilized nation...
.. Yet efforts to enact even basic protections like true universal background checks with no loopholes get blocked by republicans.

#2 mental illness...
... Yet every serious attempt to reform health care and improve access gets blocked by republicans. Its so ironic that the "Obama"care you guys hate is actually the conservative Cato institute plan championed by Mitt Romney.

#3 A society that glorifies violence and war - in our movies, TV shows, and video games...
... Where is the outrage over that?

I'm waiting to hear a real solution from the right. waiting... waiting....

I doubt if it would happen. But, if the USA ever got to the point of total confiscation even more guns would appear in the hands of Americans. Owning guns is a critical and necessary part of our culture. Nothing can stop that.

All these lefty, brain damaged liberals actually don't even think of the black market in arms sales that would very quickly come to life if a gun grab was put into place. Look what has happened to gun sales since the Obummer and his pals have held office. That should be an indication of what could easily happen.

Duh

you know what I find interesting...

that everytime there is some politician yelling about how guns are bad and we need more gun laws.... that they do it from a podium surrounded by heavily armed guards that have 15round mags and at least 5 of them on their waist, then drive off after wards surrounded by SUVs with 200round ready to fire belt fed machine guns pointed in all directions.

We dont have a gun problem... we have a psychopath problem...

but

the government sees us as THE problem, and the way to gain control is to disarm the people.

Dont fall for this background checks BS related to mental health either...cause they can easily make a law that says ANY mental health problem or person that has been prescribed ANY kind of drug to aid their condition could thus be in-eligible to own, operate or purchase any fire arm.

showing a preference will only get you into trouble, 90% of everything is crap...

14 people shot in 15 hours in Chicago.

That's a new record.

Nice going Chicago.

The mayor says guns are the problem.

Institutions seek to maximize control. Those of you who think that they are there to enlighten you, should not have skipped grade 5.

Control is always what it is about.

The problems start when they achieve control, but lack the emotional stability to exercise it properly.

What results is a rapidly degenerating society, and the imminent financial collapse that will most likely grip the entire planet. ( maybe that's why they want your guns ? )

Just immature children with silver spoons.
