Hi guys I have nearly 2 millimetre or .0787 inch gap between fan and clutch on spectra g. Is this gap too big and causes problems? If it does then how would I close this gap? Thanks

that's pretty big. make sure you're not missing something in the stack (there's two plates between engine and frame bottom). In these cases you could have an engine block on the extreme of tolerances. Check if you have any crank end play. Otherwise I'd just find a piece of think g-10 and shim it up about 40 thou.

Thanks for your reply Gavin, I have it all sorted now and have closed up the gap much better. Raja sent me a thicker base plate, which raised the engine up abit higher.
