Gents,

How does one go about, to buy 3 blades for a 3 bladed rotor head? Do I have to buy a set consisting of 3 blades, that have been balanced accordingly, or can I buy 2 sets of 2 blades and expect that they are balanced equally?

Also, any recommendations for a 3 blade set 800+ mm for sports flying, but not scale nor 3D? I like MAH blades, but as per above unsure about balancing from stock,

Many thanks,
C.

SAB do a set of 3 750mm blades. I think you generally go shorter when going from 2 blades to 3 but don't quote me on that.

Otherwise you would need to get 2 sets of 800mm blades (Align's 3G blades are good value for money and they do 780 or 800mm) and simply adjust the CG of all three so they are the same then add tape around the CG point till they weigh the same.

60% of the time, it works every time!
