Most were not abandoning their own country
yes, many left their native country during WWI-II from Europe & especially Germany,
also in the XIX century wars & before, that's how the America continent N&S got populated
now Africa & Asia is on the move to the E.U. [Germany] due to wars [their own & intervention by US-NATO & now Russia & comrades]

Again, you take things out of context. Below is my original statement including the modifier at the end.
Most were not abandoning their own country when it was under attack by secular-lawless, blood-thirsty invaders.
People leave their native country for economic opportunity all the time. They often and should always use the proper immigration channels to legally immigrate.

These cowards pouring into Germany and other European countries are not entering legally. Like I said originally, I would place a brand reading "Traitor" on each and every one of their foreheads and ship them back. That way they will have to do the right thing and either kill the ISIL/ISIS invaders or be killed themselves. No mercy or sympathy for cowards.

point is; war always moves people [for instance US citizens to Canada, from South America to the North, now Afghanistan-Pakistan-Middle East to E.U., etc & so on]
btw; US has a big role in this, start a war & never finish [on the path of Great-Britain & French ex-colonies]

My relatives came over during that time from Germany. All did so legally. Some distant relatives decided to stay behind in what became East Germany following WWII. It was strange to me when I met some of those who stayed behind as a kid growing up in northern NJ in the early 70s. I couldn't understand why they didn't come over with the rest.

After visiting Germany as an adult, it became clear to me why they stayed. They were proud Bayerischen (Bavarians) who loved their country and would fight hard to make sure Germany remained their home.

This is a much different mentality than that of the Syrians and other Muslims from the middle-east and northern Africa who abandon their homes instead of fighting for them.

good points rexxi.
Let's not forget, in the bygone days, we NEEDED bodies. We were drastically under-populated. When they say immigrants built this country, that's true, because we had lots of stuff to build.
Now??? Not so much. Those immigrants brought skills and a work ethic. Today's immigrants cut your grass or clean your house. The muzzies we are going to let in will have NO SKILLS at all and will be generations long drains on our country.
I lived with (and almost married) a Swiss girl who has been here legally for 20 years on a green card. She refuses to give up her Swiss citizenship because "that's my home". She goes home for a month almost every year and she says every time she goes home, the Muzzie population has noticeably grown and have become more aggressive, with most of them being on the dole, carving out their own "little Baghdads" and making no effort to assimilate. She said there's areas of her little town where you just don't go. That's happening here already. Added to the other segment of our society that has been doing the same thing for 50+ years.

Also sounds like every word Flaheli said is true. It is cultural and economic suicide to bring them here. No dismissive lables and over stretched ideals diminish those facts.

The facts also include that this country and pretty much every other country in the world has qualifications for entry. Criminal? Sorry go home. Can't support yourself and your family? Sorry, go home. .... Common sense.

Great article. Here is my favorite quote from it.
Ellis Island, built in 1892, was virtually an open door for Western Europeans, though there were restrictions. The United States did not want newcomers who were sick, criminals or likely to become a ward of the state.

Yup. Much of the Middle East is a screwey dangerous place full of screwey dangerous people. Perhaps we should invite millions of all the various types of screwey people here so they can fight it out in your home state?

No one in the mid east wants them? That should be a clue.

OK then, we do in fact see eye to eye on this. No one wants the madness that is going on brought into their own home.

Re-read this:

You really want Muslim "no-go zones" in your state??? Isn't it bad enough you have areas you can't go into that are inhabited by A/A's?? I remember not too long ago we were 230-240 million people. Now we're 330+. That's not from babies. Hell, let's just open the borders and make it an even 500 million. What could possibly go wrong right???
