Hello everyone,

I'm currently using the JR, NER 649S, PCM Receiver and the working voltage is the standard 4.8v. I'm wondering, though, as I've seen some of the new JR receivers listed as working with 6v systems, whether or not the 649 will operate at 6v ? Does anyone know ?

I've searched the internet and have not found any information pertaining to the voltage range for this receiver. I'd like to run the whole system at 6v and am afraid I can't do this if the receiver won't work with it.

Anyway ... if you know or can steer me to a specs page, I'd appreciate it.

thanks in advance,

John

The 649 receiver should be fine on a 6v. Be carefull with servos, as some are only rated for 4.8v

Virtually all JR receivers will operate safely at the 6V level as they have a voltage regulator on the PCB.

However, as pointed out, the servo and/or gyro may not take that voltage. A lot of Gyros will state specifically that the Voltage is 4.8V. If you exceed that, then on your own head be it........

Thank you, both,

for your responses. Yes, I already checked and the GY601 will operate at 6v, as well as the servos I'm looking at.

Again, thanks.
