Hi,
I read this article on CY Q&A book about setting up swashplate timing. Does anyone use swashplate timing on their Sceadu/Evo?

I find that it needs some skill to get my Sceadu to roll straight but my X-Spec rolls straight easily. So I'm wondering if using swashplate timing will help.

YES...

Check the timing frequently on the Sceadu. I found it slips pretty easy and will cause that rolling tendency.
I also put the EX washout on mine and I think it actually lets the swash timing shift easier than the plastic.
I would not put it anywhere but dead on. If you look I am betting it is just slightly out and that is all it take to make it roll.
