I have a hawk 30 which likes to rip apart the plastic around the main fuel tank! I can not figure out why? Has anybody tried differnet tanks for the Century birds?

Is it the tank thats getting torn up? If so check for chaffing - perhaps put some silicon RPV on the frames before you put the tank in. That should help.

A friend of mines did a similiar thing- the tank would get all cut up and it was from rubbing on the frames.

Hope this helps!

fuel tank tearing

just a bit of helpful advice. You can use an empty alcohol bottle to fuse a fuel tank back together.Works great my raptor frame tore the **** off my tank and I was back in the air in no time.
