I am using the HITEC electron receiver FM with my Futaba 9CHP.
Antenna is routed according to plan, forward (between skids) and than backward. Last 10" hanging down.

I have a range problem at about 220' or more. Wild twitches nearly loosing control, so far I was lucky to get it always back.

If I stay close I have hardly any glitches. Sometimes it reacts violently for a fraction of a second in either dropping 6" or I am getting some unwanted cyclic or tail movement. But the further I am out there, the worse it gets.

Is anybody else having this problem and:

WHAT CAN I DO ABOUT IT ??

Thanks

After checking all your wires as Jeremy said another thing to try is a ferrite ring on the ESC to receiver wire right before the receiver. If you are using a CC Phoenix then CC has rings that they offer. Radio Shack also sells snap on ferrite or torroids that will work. JR also sells them.

Jeremy, I got the ferrite rings from CC and installed them on my Corona and Eolo. I have not been flying enough to test them. I believe the occasional glitch that I was getting with my Corona is gone, but again I have flown so little since (mostly just hovering) installing that I can not say for certain. The rings from CC are so small and directions call for one wrap of one receiver plug wires. So small and simple I will put one on all of my CC controllers.
