Here is the solution with your trigger happy cops- send them over here , they'll have a field day with the total lawlessness here . They can start by cleaning out the crooked local cops.

Anyone is a total moron if they fight with the cops or run from them.

The risks should be obvious to even the most dense.

It's actually "immoral".

In spite if that, I agree. It never should have happened.

After that is said, why were those idiots running?

The one in this thead was running from being apprehended during an undercover weapons "sting".

Was selling weapons that obviously would be used in any number of criminal acts.

That said, the reserve deputy that fired the shot was 73.

A banker by occupation.

Bankrolled a lot of equipment that that police entity uses.

Hmm. Not sure what to think about this one. The man had at least one gun that he was trying to sell illegally. So I can understand a cop going for the tazer when he didn't roll on command.

The thing I'd like to ask is, WHY IS A TAZER'S SHAPE AND FUNCTION EXACTLY THE SAME AS A GUN?! What a STUPID design. They seriously need to reconsider the design. This is not the first time a guy was shot when he should have been tazed. It's so jacked that the tazer has a trigger and is shaped like a gun and everything. It's just asking for crap like this to happen.

Anyway, the officer is facing a manslaughter charge. So in before people say that nothing's being done. This officer gets to go through the prison system at 73 years old so it might as well be a life sentence.

And in before someone says racism. The guy clearly made a mistake. Yes he should be held accountable, just as if I accidentally drive over a person. Mistakes still require liability. But if anyone sees racial malice in this instead of a mistake, it's because they want to.

One more question. Law enforcement at 73? Isn't there some detective or desk job for guys that age? Or heck, even social security? Police pension? He was so old for that work, that his best bet is probably to try be found unfit for duty and trial. At that age he should be chilling watching Cops on TV, not being one!

Oh nm he's a wealthy executive who plays cops in the reserves. He'll post bail, beat the charges, and nothing will come of this. Rich people don't go to jail. Silly me.

well looks like a accident

lmao the way he said sorry

not all crocks are bad people most are good people in need that lose there
mind and do dumb things to earn money.

i say if your so scared of jail dont do the crime makes you look even dumber when you try to run .

i use to own unregistered guns the best unregistered gun i ever owned
was a mac 10 that had a 35 round clip 9mm bought it for 50 bucks.

you could not give me a unregistered gun for free today and if i had one and got caught with it i would not run if i accept the gun i also accept the time if i got caught with it thank god i love sex rc helicopters and rock and roll

wish someone could have given the dead man a job he might not have died for selling guns but when your selling something that can kill someone else karma is a you know what

You got it, man.

Still, a mistake can and should be held liable. An example is if I hit the gas instead of the brake and ran someone over. Mistake. But I am still probably going to jail for vehicular manslaughter.

if its clearly a accidental mistake i doubt it.

i lived with a friend and his mother when i was a kid
and i had just got off the phone when someone through a 40 ounce
bottle full of gasoline into my window i thought real fast what have
i done to someone to deserve this right when my mind said nothing
i moved to look out of the broken window that was on fire bullets
started coming through my windows i ran out the room and meet my friend
running out of his room bullets were coming through the walls piece of the walls were flying all over the place like in the Max Payne movie i followed
my friend into his mothers room she had a gun he got the gun and as we came into the living room i saw my friends hand shaking i took the gun from him
and i fired 6 shots i was scared to lol

25 police cops showed up the cops asked who shot the house across the street my friend and his mom told them i did they said sense i was in fear of my life they just took the gun and told me good night.

the guys fired 50 rounds into my friends moms house and got away

the guys thought my friend robbed them but they later found out my friend was a college kid and his nephew and my friend was big john willams who played for the lakers
