I gave up on buying a T.T. head conversion and just bought a head with the same size main shaft off ebay

Made up my own links installed a CGY750 and it flies like a dream

Check out a Synergy head

You will have to throw away (or sell the gy601) and buy/install/setup an FBL gyro.

There are plenty to choose from: Vbar, BeastX, Skookum, BavarianDemon, Spartan, etc.

None of them are "plug and play", so once you install the head, and buy the FBL unit, you will have to go through setup, and then tune it.

Some of them can govern the motor, so depending on what you choose, the Gv1 pay not be useful.
