Quick Heli has been talking about a larger E-Heli in the works... This looks suspiciously like the Quick design. http://users.one.se/tomafran/ezfly/...om_rebelion.htm

Hallo!

This is the page of the german importer of the Rebell (swedish version: Rebel Ion):
http://www.heli-tuning.com/

The helicopter is reselled by Quick-World-Wide as Quick-EP. Heli-Tuning.com changed it in some details (autorotation-pulley, better design of the canopy, alloy-blade-grips on the tail for example) and gave it the name Rebell. There's no helicopter "Quick-EP Version Rebell" available at quickworldwide.de

In the video I use NiCd batteries with a flighttime of about 5 minutes. In the meantime I changed to LiPo with a flighttime of 18 minutes.

The video was filmed about a month ago. It was one of the first tests in aerobatics. There'l be a new video soon, where you can see the full freestyle capabilities.

Markus,

The helicopter on the site has its batteries hang off each side of the heli. Is this the current configuration and what benefit have you notice.

Thanks.

Hi!

My Rebell has it's batteries as one piece in the middle of the mechanics. The version with 2 6-cell-batts is for people who want to share the batts with their cars or so. I don't think, that it's a better configuration. It's only another one.

Hi!

You can get the canopy in glas (standard) or carbon. The one i use is made of glas. It's very light, so there's no need for the other one except that the paint-job is already done.
Here's a pic of it:

I don't know the price in US$. You can ask Randolph Maussner. He shoukld also know a shop in the states, where you can buy this bird.

What motor do you have in the Rebell?

I am considering the Aveox 36/30/2 that HHI recommends. Any comments on that motor?

Thanks,
Dave

HI!

I don't know the Aveox myself. It should be a very powerful motor. I use a TORCMAN 350 LRK from Klaus Kraft.
You can find this motor on this page (there's a link on it to the english version):
http://www.torcman.de/

Ron Sebsastin (some of you will know him from UK Masters) got a try on my Rebell last Saturday. He flew pirouetting loops with this little bird. I couldn't believe it...
