It is a plastic conopy, not a automotive spray. Can I use a normal spray coat paint to bring up the glossy look?

Hi

For what it is worth I have found that almost none of the retail clear coats you can buy will hold up to 30% nitro. That includes most of the stuff you get at the hobby shop. You can use them though they age poorly.

The sad truth is the best products are the 2 part auto clears. Sad because they are not to be sprayed in the garage or basement shop, they are very toxic. I do have a freind who takes his air bushed canopies down to the local bodyshop and for $20. they clear them. And they will do a first rate job on all your hard work.

I happen to have a full spray room at work, this I have been told that this not a normal thing, so I guess that makes me abnormal.

Have fun!
