I might need to sell my heli. Below is a list. I need an idea for asking price. It has about 1 gallon if fuel through it with no crashes. It does need a new flybar. Work has slowed down for the winter and need money. I hate to part with it. Sorry, no camera, no pics.

os 32 engine with air filter
2 piston/sleve kits
tt upgrade muffler
larger tank
inline fuel alumnium fuel filter

airtronics rd600 super radio
sirius batter chager with car and wall adapter
helimax pitch gauge
helimax ball link pliers

assorted allen wrenches with handles
1 gallon fuel tank with hand crank pump
rubber maid style tool box
--has pull handle with wheels

you got a lot of stuff to help someone who wants to get in the hobby.
great begginers ship.
but resale is never near new usually people start at 70%
of what they paid or can buy new in the stores.

i sold a ready to fly shuttle and only brought in 450.00

That's what I was afraid of. I have about $1400 invested and I need at least $800. Oh well, I guess that decides it. Thanks

If you want the maximum dollar for your heli, you'll have to sell it to a complete idiot to heli's. May I be so bold as to suggest E-bay.

I lost my infamous tag line.

sell the stuff separetly on ebay. You should get 800 that way. It would be hard to find a single buyer who wants to buy all that stuff, so they only bid for what they want. If you sell separetly in different lots you will find that you will reach more bidders.

You also need pictures. Take a picture with a regular 35mm lens and go to a rite aid or some place like that and ask for the pictures on a cd. People won't bid too high if they don't see what they are bidding on. Also try to take pictures of a neat organized enviornment.

You should sell in lots of

heli and engine and muffler
servos
radio and reciever
charger
gyro and servo
different lots of different types of spare lots.
and tools.

If you want the max amount sell it like that.

I third that sentiment. Sell it separate. Don't expect much for the heli because of the stigma connected to it being a V1.

And get that flybar fixed. That one $3 part will cost you $100 because it is human nature: People will think "it needs repair" not "it only needs a $3 part."

The other thing that will hurt you no matter where you sell it (but ESPECIALLY on Ebay) is the no pic thing. You know somebody with a digital camera . . . . borrow it and snap some photos.

You should really keep it anyway because no matter what, you're going to take a bath when you sell.'

Glenn.

I'm not really an R/C pilot, I stayed in a Holiday Inn Express last n
