Yes you can.. There is a tail you buy that has a modified bell crank that allows you to flip it.. The Align part number is H70097
that's what I bought and have used.. along with speeding up the tail gears.. The part numbers for those are in my build thread..

https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B5H...c/preview?pli=1

there is a blog pdf file of one guy who is using a Trex700 for the Jetranger.. you might some useful info.. as I did.

Good luck with the build

Thanks again!

Would it also be possible to change the tail rod to upper position on the tail boom? Or is it impossible on the T-Rex?

Like I marked in red here:

Sure it's possible. You can use a rigid control rod if you have room to relocate the rudder servo to the top of the boom inside the fuselage or you could always use a flex cable which would allow you to leave the servo in the stock position. If you go with the flex cable, you'll need to secure it to the boom in several locations to stop it from bowing. Some individuals use a rigid tube such as carbon or aluminum to run the flex cable through for additional security.

Thats not needed that align bell crank can be switched to be a left hand. Just take apart the bell crank and rotate the arm feom right to left I have this same tail case on two of my scale birds and they both have the TR on the left but the push rod is still on the bottom of the boom just rotate the slider bell crank that u have can be change from right side to left.

That's great!

But in mine there is an little issue that only would work if I sand this corners (marked in red)

I think it's ok, right?

Hi Calil,

I have a question - Does the front of your Fuz come off or do you have to lift the mechanics out of the top??

This is how my fuse works:

Another "problem". Since everything was inverted now this parts are touching each other. As you can see the other side is perfect for this do not happen but now they are touching. What do you guys think? Sand here too?

Sell that fuse and by the RCA 206 you won't have any issues or cut anything, hey Matt do they just make that TR for the 700 only?

My t-rex has the wren 44 on it, only the funkey would fit it because the way the front is removed. It works, I have seen two videos with the same fuselage. The RCA fuse removes only the top and I don't know if this would let the turbine goes in.

I live in Brazil and to buy a fuselage is a very hard importing and expensive proccess, so I will try this one for now. If it fails I'll order another one, 800 size in the future.

About the tail is in the extreme position that the pieces touch each other. My t-rex kit is the latest Nitro DFC kit, so the tail part number is probably the newest one?

Another question, I'd like to know if I could put the elevator on the rear position (inverting the swashplate)? I'm askin that because that would make possible to center the main shaft with the center of the swashplate housing and then the tail would fit just fine!

I imagine if these two flew, mine should too:

Although described as MACFACTORY, looks exactly like the same fuse as mine. Who knows.... he used the original front elevator position as we can see in this picture.

Sorry for so many questions, this is the very first time I fit a fuselage on a helicopter, if it was electric would be a lot easier....

PS: after these two videos I'll leave the tail on the original t-rex position.

I'll focus on positioning the elevator rear or not. That will depend of what you guys tell me.
