When I engage the TJ, it takes over smoothly, but today for the first time, when coming down (descending), the tail starts twitching and I can hear a momentary buzz.

When I switch off the TJ, the twitching stops. Please advise, I have tried
re-calibrating, and this did not help.

My radio JR-X378 s-PCM

My Throttle ATV is 100 at the bottom and 60 at the top.

My AUX2 ATV is at 0 bottom and 105 at the top.
(I tried different ATV's here from 80 up but no help)

I have a V2 with webra 35 red head, and a weston.

The Heli flies fine with the TJ off.

Sounds as though the midrange is slightly lean. Do what's necessary to richen the mixture when the carb is between 1/4 and1/3 open. Probably OK with throttle curve because the head speed changes some on decent.

When you switch the T.J. on does the rotor speed increase slightly? If so your gyro gain may be a bit too high. I am assuming the rotor RPM is increased when you engage the governor.

The increase in rotor speed consequently increases the tail performance a bit. This would have an effect on gyro gain setting as well. If nothing else works, drop the gyro gain 2 to 5 points just to see if the problem goes away when you engage the T.J. If so, readjust your tail gyro gain for the increase in tail for the increased tail speed performance accordingly.

The manual says to have the throttle ATV as close to 100% on either end. Maybe having the 60% on top has something to do with it? Try to find a different hole in the servo (or drill one) to get your throttle as close to 100% ATV and then recalibrate.
