is it true you can burn up a module on a pcm transmitter if you leave your antenna down???
almost everyone i know tells me this and i would like to know why???
or if it is even true???
if someone can give me a technical answer that would be awsome!!

Yes it will burn the module out, been there done it, got the T shirt !!!!

If using your transmitter indoors then always pull out at least a few parts ot the aeriel, if you feel the module getting slightly warm then turn your transmitter off and let it cool down.

Definately true something to do with the coils. You should have the antenna at least one segment up. I think it's ok for short periods as in range checks but if it starts to get warm, pull the antenna up.

The good thing about the jr3810 is when you use the training dsc (for G2) then the radio is in a low power mode and doesn't transmit a signal so no problem

I've got some proper info on why this happens I'll try and root it out.

You can always take your module out when you play G2.
That way it doesn't transmit.
