The nearest club that I know of is in Coos Bay/North Bend. I can't remember their name, and I can't find a map to the field either. They are mostly plankers, but someone there does own a Vigor CS.

I saw it on display at the Pony Village Mall while visiting family in the area. I think I may know someone who may know more, I'll post anything I find out here.

Hi live just up the road a little ways, i am new at this heli stuff, i have a HB, i can hover it for about as long as a battery pack will allow. then every time i change something its like starting over. i am wanting a new larger heli, i think that i am getting the hawk sport. its cost is a lot less then the other brands and i have read a lot of good things about it. i am not wantong to fly 3d, i am a scale fan

if you guys do not mind i would like to go to where you fly and see what its like. there is some guys from the Longview or St. Helens area that flies at a park by the Trogan Nuclear Power Plant. they all fly raptors i think, i want to see all the different choppers around the area before i buy.

Thanks

Well they arent all raptors there .. I have a caliber 30 and a friend of mine has a caliber 30 and is also a member of the darkside with his Peditor 90.Also we have a member that has a Scedeu and a scale bell 222.I think I am about the only guy there that flys the most rappys.I think we have a good cross section of the helis out there Oh and before I forget there is also a guy that has an excell 60. Dave with his preditor and me will be there tomorow if the weather is decent ..

I'll ask her .. they just moved there last yr and this is the first time I will have even been there ....I know that it takes along time to get home from our club where u live.i'd go to the vancouver club if I lived there .. You are still welcome to come to ours .. We had a few of the guys this last summer from Vancouver at ours ,since their field was out of commision ..Bunch on nice guys ..I am like you tho ..I wish there was a bridge across there .. It would save me 20 mins getting to the field too .. That stinking Longview Rainer Bridge Sucks .. If I went flying last summer I would take the motorhome because half the time the bridge was closed when I wanted to come back .. That way I just stuck around and flew all nite and never had to worry..

What no 3D for you?

Well rp56 if you don't want to try 3D then you better not watch Russ fly as he is one of the best at 3D thats for sure.
You might get hooked if you watch him fly as he will mesmorize you.
Awsome flyer to say the least

the 3d flying is something that i think is cool looking. but at this point i am not wanting to spend the kind of money that it takes to get a good setup for 3d. maybe in a few years of flying 3d might be something that i will want to do.

HB is the fixed pitch hummingbird that century sells.

thanks for all the invites on the flying.
