Hello,

THe TT 38 engine that came with my V2 already had the clutch shoe, cooling fan and shim assembled. Do they usually come this way, because in the assembly manual it goes through the steps to put these together.

Can I trust the factory did it correct, or what shoud I check?

Thanks,

Jarrett

you must have gotten the arf? i also bought the 30 v2 arf and my tt.39 engine came installed with the clutch and all those goodies alrighty assembled and installed. it should be fine. i have had no problems or heard of anybody having problems with the arf motor assembly. the only thing i can think of that may happen would be on start up it would backfire and the fan would come loose, i wouldnt worry about it tho its pretty rare good luck pm me if you have any more questions about the machine merry christmas, billy zimmerman

How much more power does the tt39 have over the os 32, when I bought my kit as a newbie I mistakenly thought the 32 was the better. When I flip my heli I always lose altitude once inverted with the engine screaming, I see on vids they flip it with losing no alititude

I had the kit and just took the clutch off and threadlocked it, leave the fan on the way it is.

Factory Work In General

I had my V1 come with the gear on the clutch bell from the factory. I "assumed" they did it right just to have the gear come loose in flight ...I saved the heli but had to strip it down to threadlock it on. Moral is: To do it right do it yourself...then you know & won't guess.

My kit also came with the clutch liner glued in.

That seems to be standard here in the UK (but as the bag was sealed it must have been done at the factory in Taiwan)

Had to install the fan on the OS32 though (as it was not part of the kit originally)

Sorry, I beg to differ on the to do it right then do it yourself.

The factory people know what to do and the chances of them getting it wrong are there but slim. Everyone makes mistakes.
I also bought the ARF and my pinion was red thread locked in and took an effort to remove.

The quote should be do it yourself and only have yourself to blame.

That might sound sceptical but atleast you'll know if it works, it was your own doing and if it fails it was your fault

Merry Christmas All
