Anybody have an idea why the Robinson prepainted scale heli is almost 300 dollars more then their other kits. I like it but.............

Because

painting, the prep, the cost of all equipment, not to mention the decals, and the health hazard.......

Oh, in case that doesn't apply to someone.......

the TIME involved....now THAT should cover everybody.

WHEN I get mine, it will be a pre-painted one. Pay once, cry once.....and have a good looking finish on a heli that can be in the air in less than a week.

The Robinson is a .50 powered Raven with a fuse over it, but the other ARF scales at Century are .30 size with Hawk 3 mechs.
I was there at Heli-Worlds shop just before Thanksgiving, wanted a scale bird and settled on the 222. They had a display version of the Robinson there and it looked very nice!
