Hi all.
I'm thinking of getting this motor. Can I use the stock pinion or do I need to use a different one for "novice-type" flying?

Also, what's the amp draw on this puppy?

Thanks!

do you have the r22 kit? it comes with the 18t
if you have the pro kit it comes with the 16t

the twist 3700 on 8 cells you want the 16t and if you run 10 cells or lipo 3s2p,3s3p or 3s4p you want to run the 14T

the twist 3700 is Excellent match for the Eolo

Yep!

Yep. I have the Eolo...got it from you.
Plagued w/ (my own fault) problems getting it off the ground.

Going to be ordering that motor, pinion set, a battery or two, new main gear.

I have a 40A brushless ESC that I'm told will work fine.

Thanks.

He he he

It's the TMM 40e-3ph brushless, sensorless controller. 40A constant and I think 50A or 60A burst. (Have to check the manual).
I know it's 40A constant and has a "soft start" and brake or no brake option.

Between work and my own stupidity it hasn't gotten off the ground yet. My Hummingbird is getting all the air time (before work in the parking lot each day).

How do you program the Jazz on normal operation. Looks as though has too much stroke at the begining of the throttle and the led does not light during this interval. Also, when you go down at aprox. 5%-10% on the stick, the motor brakes????.
