Hi all,

I have a problem with Piccolo Fun that I hope somebody can help me out with. The problem is that whenever I have it hovering in the air, I have to compensate a lot of right input for the tail on my 8103. If I don't do this, it will pirouette with no input from my radio. I have the tail rotor gain on the piccoboard adjusted for full max and I also compensate on my radio's trim which helps, but I have it maxed out now. I have also started using revo mixing on my radio, which is also maxed out now at +125% as well. No matter what I do to compensate for this, it still pirouettes. This is driving me crazy, does anybody have any ideas as to how to fix this? Thanks for any replies.

You will see the same with most of the Futaba 9ZxP (1024) radio.
It is know here in Europe that most Piccoboards will not work with this radio, and some others.

If you have tried different RX crystal, go for a simple 4 channel radio and you will see that this will work.

Well, I just got done testing to see if my xp662 radio would fix this problem, but it doesn't. The same thing happens. The problem does not seem to lie in the radio. Any other suggestions? Thanks for any replies,

Do you have the gyro gain and mix sensitivity set correctly?
See PaulG's page on how to set-up piccoboards and for trouble shootin

Okay, think I've got it figured out. I tried using the airplane mode on 8103 radio and think this fixed some of the problem. I can now hover pretty decently w/ a minimum of right trim input. I'm guessing that I need a new rear motor to fix the problem of it piroing?
