Is there anybody (expert pilot) who is willing to share a good setup program for the Futaba FC28 V3.2 radio for the Robbe Millenium in both FAI and 3d set up. (I mean the curves, rates, etc.)
Thank you
Albo

You will probably find that the better the pilots, the simpler the setups seem to get.

Check out Ron Lunds throttle geometry tips on the ricks webside.

Straight pitch curves

Only use flight modes to change machine rpm and keep everything else consistant

With the Milli heli, good mechanical setup will really pay off big! Check out my gallery for setup tips.

good luck

set up

My set up for three Schluters is close enough that I can have the wrong model selected and the only thing is throttle trim I can tell. It's simple, zero pitch at mid stick always,Governor on the mode switch,1750 on idle-1 and 1800 on idle-2.I use 10-0-10 for a pitch limit and it becomes automatic. The time spent at the bench pays off in flight time, not fussing.Autos are the same, mid stick-0 and 10+/-.Changing flight modes is uneventful,no jumping up or down and all the models fly similar so practice is good on anyone of them.See no secrets.TimT

Set up

Thank you gays,
As far as I understand these days no one uses trottle curves for IDUP 1 and IDUP 2, nor for the pitch?
What about mixing and dual rates? or GV! set up.

Basic throttle curves should be set up as a backup to the GV1, With the GV1, the fine tuning of the curves is eliminated.

Mixing used to be really big to compensate for the tail... with Heading Hold gyros, this is now needed to be set to 0 or disabled.

My governor will come on with the stick switch function, thus not interfear with the throttle hold. I then just have 3 speed settings for the diffrent flight modes. JK has some good info here http://www.jkheli.com/gv1.htm

Pitch curves, I use a straight curve set from 9 bottom 0 center 9 top that is the same in all 3 flight (speed) modes for my 3D style flying. For FAI styles, you would want to a curve the is less sensitive in the center or hovering areas.

I do use a little expo on my cyclics, but not much.

Dual rates.... I do not use any, but they wouldn't hurt if you would like to play with them a bit.
