i've got a futaba pcm reciver
and the aerial wire has about 1 inch of the outer caseing striped off ,showing the bare wire

what will be the best thing to do with this

shall i cut it off so no bare wire is showing?

It's not a good idea to change the length of the receiver antenna. Instead, you can do one of two things:

1. Replace the entire wire with a wire of the same length.

2. Use some heat-shrink tubing to cover the exposed wire.

Replace the whole wire, cost is less than $ 2.00 or put on a base load.
