Capebob,

I can see now you are right

psawya..
Yes the gear details up front would have helped but I thought it was the screws protruding too far out from the locking ring that was causing the whole issue. Sorry guys

I accept 99% of responsibility but you have to admit them instructions are vague as.

I know it was frustrating. More so here

Peter you are so right the instructions arent the best. The best instructions I have seen to date is Hirobo, they make it so idiot proof. If you do a search you will see I did the same thing when I 1st built my R60, and a few others did too, so dont feel left out!!!

Glad you got it worked out you will really like the bird.

Daz...

Peter,

Bottom line up front, yep, them instructions are terrible.

I didn't mean it to be an insult. Sometimes things posted on forums can't be taken in the right context because the person posting (me in this instance) doesn't have the literary ability to properly convey the context of their thoughts as a good author of a book may, the smileys help but it is still difficult to do.

It was meant to express that giving out all the details of a situation will help others to help you. Also, as a reminder to the ones trying to help to not make assumptions but to ask for more details.

Sorry if you took it otherwise.

Pete,

No offence was taken, I understand this place and nothing was directed at anyone.

We are all better flyers and builders because of the vast knowledge that we get from here.

I despise the internet at times for what it can do but when it comes to information it's the greatest knowledge base we have. When it's used for it's intended purpose it is great

I am very thankfull for everyones input. I just couldnt see the forrest for the trees.

Cheers

The entire Raptor line is a very good bargain. Good performance, good prices, easy to work on, cheap to fix. Only the instructions are not the greatest, but there is an abundance of information on the web here and elsewhere to help you along.

Go Raptors,
Best bang (pardon the pun) for buck in RC helis.
Who knows, with the numbers being sold maybe the prices will come down even further.
