After unsucessfully trying to sell my "almost new" (<10 tanks) OS32 on this board, ( I wore out my first 32!!!) I decided to put a CY MPII Muscle pipe on it to wake the Raptor up a bit. I'm happy to report that it flys like a new machine with gobs more power than before.

I e-mailed CY and he responded w/in a day and reports that the MPII w/ a TT39 was tested and put out approx .25HP more than a "Std Can" muffler. I have to agree.

I was so impressed, that today, I just ordered a Hirobo EVO .50 and also bought the MPII for this setup too.

Anyone else care to comment on their experience with the MPIIs

MP II

Hi,

I have a .30 model and I use a tt.39 with the MP II. I'm very pleased with the amount of power this combination creates. The pipe is a little loud but I'll take the noise any day because of the amount of power it generates. Besides, it's been a while since I've flown a .30 model and I forgot how much flight time you get out of tank of fuel. :-)

Thnaks for all the input guys. As far as tthe loudness goes, I found that if a richen up the mixture a few clicks it helps.

For all those that DO mind how loud your tuned pipe is, curtis now has a silencer insert available at his website.

Their is a specific version for each engine class.

.30-.39

.50

and .80-.91

So you would probably want to order the one that coinsides with the engine class you want.

Hi,

Like Darren said, So you would probably want to order the one that coinsides with the engine class you want.

Do forget for the .50 engine class and higher, when you order you need to know the gear ratio too.
