Hello people:
I have a big question,
I am in the proccess to ending my Fury expert, with OS70, I have to chose the gyro for, I have a futaba 401 w/9253 digital, JR 5000T w/8700G superservo, or the CSM 540 w/8700G superservo.
To all of you wich gyro do you use in the Fury???, others are in Raptor 50.
Saludos a todos.

I was overwhemingly convinced in this forum to go with the 401/9253 so I did. Just installed it last week and I must say that the setup was fairly straight forward and not the headscratching nightmare I thought it would be. So far the 401 works as advertised with no surprises. I've yet to fly much in fwd flight but it sure locks the tail dead still in a hover. I think I made the right choice in going with this gyro/servo. Good Luck

401 is a good choice.

But if possible, or you need Hard 3D preformance, I think you should better choice 601.

Have fun !!!

Unlike most of the biased replys I actually own all of these: JR-5000t/8700g , 401/9253 and a CSMSL560/9253 and another CSM with an 8700G.
I can say without a doubt CSM rules!! the best out of all above. Little more attention in the setup than the others but once set, it beats them all! The only gyro on the market that is what i would say is a worthy competitor is the 601, but since I don't own a 601 I can't comment, but you have to remember CSM invented HH gyro's way before JR or FUT.
Then a long way down, the JR5000t and a close third 401/9253.
But to answer your original question, I would probably go with the 5000t. Slightly better gyro than the 401. After all, Curtis used it for a while.
