I'm thinking about going brushless as soon as my Acro dies(not very soon) so I need some help......

Is this a good combo with the Hummingbird and FP Hornet blades?

I would like to use my Etec 1200 7.4v if it will work well.

I don't really want a whole lot more power, just duration and effieciency that a brushless motor provides.
Any suggestions as this will be my very first brushless.

What is a good pinion???

Thankyou

P.S. Will the Phoenix and Asto do that "cogging" thing, if that is what it is called, or will my motor always "fire up" and start turning like a regular motor will.

I use an astro 10 with a pheonix 25 (don't ask why...!). 10T pinion on motor and have only flown with standard blades and cut down blades. Battery is 2 cell kokam 1200mAh.

It has power to spare. You might need a larger pinion for the FP hornet blades.

If by cogging you mean that it sometimes does not spin up.. yes, this happens but infrequently.

Regards

I believe based on other posts, you would be happier with the Razor V2. I know I have been happy with mine. Others that have tried the Asto, Hacker and Razor have reported that the razor is lighter and has more power. Since you are not in a hurry, why not pre-order it directly from razormotors.
