Just got my Eolo Pro from Rchover last night. I have emailed RChover 2x now and have not gotten a response yet. I am wondering if you guys know if I can use the Triton charger for the Tanic 5s and 6s packs?
Also what controller to purchase for the Aveox motor Jeremy has recommended for 3d flight on the website
Any builder tips would be helpful as well.

Thanks

the Triton will not do it. It will handle
up to 4S.

Look for the Schulz 330 or Orbit V6

hi airshares ,
did you get a e-mail from me this morning ?
here is a copy of my responce to you just in case you did not get it :
also you can email me @ waltzerdesign@yahoo.com

Hi Bryan..
how the building going?

1. I perfer pcm over FM I use futaba 9 channel pcm or they make a 8 channel that's alittle smaller...once in a while I was getting glitching on fm and tried pcm and no more glitching on PCM!!

2.I would suggest the NEW Jazz 40-6-18 it can handle up to 25 volts which you need for the 6s, the CC p60 works well too

3.the trition only can charge 4 cells so you will need to get a better charger, I can get you the shultz 330

if you go with the Kontroinc twist 3700 you can run 3s2p, 3s3p or 3s4p and still use your trition. the twist is a SWEET motor and on a tanic 3s2p it is a lite setup

What kind of a pilot are you? novice, sport, 3d, or extreme 3d?

if your a sport/3d guy you would be happy with the twist and if your demanding unlimited power the Aveox is the way to go...

let me know
Jeremy

I have sent two e-mails to Jeremy and he answered within several hours.

What is the defference between 3D/sport setup and Xtreme?
I can guess the reason 3D guys need xtreme setup but any reason novice shouldn't take xtreme 3D setup?

Jeremy,

I didn't get your emails. I sent you one a week ago too and never got a response. Im not getting returned mail problems. I will try the other email address you gave me. Something must be wrong with my email server, which worries me to think what else have i missed.

I am not an extreme 3d pilot. I am learning it. However, The reason i figured i would get the aveox is that I get bored easily and didn't want to have to upgrade again. I just wanted the hottest setup i can get first shot. So do you think the Aveox and Jazz or the CC would be good? I ordered the Aveox last night from you.
I saw a special on the Kontronik Smile for $109 at ICARE......would this work?
Also let me know about the 330 charger and the price. I need to get one.
Thanks
Bryan

Hi Bryan
feel free to pm here on RR if your not getting regular e-mails
the phenox will work but the New Jazz is rated at a higher voltage (25V) and when you run aveox/6s you are running 22.2 volts
FYI I do run CC p45 w/o the bec and it works fine too, but it is at the very limit of its rating with the 6s, I do know they under rate for margin of safety...if you run a seperate BEC the CC ratings goes up...see the specs...

I don't know about the smile , It is NOT a PROGRAMABLE like the Beat/jazz ot the phenox line..I don't know about it's rating either...

So if i go with the CCp45 for $120 i will need the 5 volt BEC for another $30?

Will I need the BEC if i buy the JAZZ? If not then the Jazz is a better purchase for the money. But if I have to buy that BEC for $30 then I will probably get the CC p45 to save some money.

is this correct?
