It seems that the new CSM560 is the best option for the gyro, that thing is just so small.
As for servo, I'm not sure. Some people are using the Hitec 81MG's for everything, but I'm a little undecided what to use just yet.

I just swopped from csm 200 with hs81 mg which I didn't like,

Have just fitted a futaba gy401 with 9293 servo, I thought the servo would be too big but as it came with the gyro why not try it,
Now its fitted it does look a bit big but it works great so im going to keep it.

A freind has the new csm 560 and it is tiny, Ive only heard good things about it.

Good luck
David

If you can fit a full size 9253 then that's great. I'll have a look into that. I'm still thinking the CSM would be a better fit than the 401, even though I'm not a great CSM fan.

I have had excellent performance with the futaba 401 with the hs 81

now that my 6s tanics are mounted up front under the canopy seen here:

I'm thinking of mounting a 9153 under or near the main shaft to this full sized servo won't make my Eolo tail heavy...it should not be too hard with a longer push rod

I also think the the Eolo could use a bigger TR disc to give it more TR arthority and I will be trying long blades, but I think that the 2mm bolts that hold the blade grips on are marginal at the increased head speeds/ loads/bigger blades and needs to be beefed up to 2.5mm....were looking into modifying the hub and finding a goo 2.5x6 BB to fit in the grip

hummmm where's that boca catalog?
