Hi;

I just received my Century HB-Bell 222 ARF, and guess what...
It came with the shaft collar mod, and ball in swash mod already installed!!! Wow I'm very happy, that way, I can keep my other HB as is.

And it seems that plastic used in the construction of the swashplate is better quality, seems less brittle.

I was very surprise...and happy about guys at Century, and the 222 is very very nice looking.

I will post photos soon on my website

I'm pretty sure that these mods came stock from Century, because I ordered it from GreatHobbies here in Canada, and I dont think they opened the box and do the mods! maybe I will ask Gary if he did it.

The brass ball in swash is integrated with the swashplate, not 2 pieces like the one we order from third parties like helihobby.

Anyway, I'm very happy with this Bell 222, I will put the electronics in it during the holiday vacation...until then, she is very nice standing on the bookshelf...

Wow... pretty neat! I'm surprised it is not mentioned on any of Century's info on the HBs. Could you take a picture so we can see, just curious.

I'm not. If they did do the mods, and I think they have, they will wait until most of the HB's that do not have the mods are ordered before they say anything. Just my opinion.

Well would you look at that... pretty cool. Im impressed.

Somebody here mentioned that he had his main blades strike his tail blades. How do your blades look in length ROT8, do they look like they could collide?

Absolutly, I tried and they touch each other.

But, this is not a problem, because I removed the stock main blades (will keep them just in case!) and installed a brand new set of MS Hornet CF FP blades! They are a bit shorter.

I was the one who had his tail rotor chopped off on my airwolf, watch out for that when you guys get your 222 or airwolf. If you are going to run a stock setup then either the main or TR blades should be shaved a bit to prevent a catastrophic derotorization like mine

I am working on it with them, but I need to wait until I get my Airwolf, the end of the month, so I can see it up close and all that good stuff
