Non. i run the ys91 with the mp2 and with 30% fuel it don't need no hup ups. On the other hand some people run the os with the clyne setup and some even use the viper head on both the ys and os but it's more like a chevy ford kinda thing if you get my drift.

i dont have a predator...but get yourself a ys 91, sb-16 muffler, and a viper head...you wont be able to control the power. The sb-16 is made by hatori and i prefer it over the mp2 because it wont crack your crank case, it puts out the same, if not more power, and its alot lighter. Dont get a os and put all the regulater and pumps in it..it will cost more money than the ys.

My Pred MAX has a O.S. .91 C Spec with CY MP2 for the pipe
(Mach -7 30% fuel) and header tank. Futaba 9252s for the controls and GY502 with a 9253 servo for the tail. No other special mods required.

Radio is a Futaba 9Z WC2 with Synthesized Module

I run the.............

OS 91 Cspec with a perry pump piped straight to the carb pumping Magnum 30%. I am running no check valve or bypass and I am running muffler pressure on the main feeding the header tank and I have the MPII. Runs great and is easy to tune.

"small block"

YS 80, hatori sb 15 muffler, header tank, 8.45 gear ratio. I use a tetra 3 way valve for pressure regulation/diversion. DS 8311 servo's, futaba 129 DP RX, GY 502/9253 for tail duties. DS 811 on throttle. 3,000 MaH NiMh battery, Gem 2000 switch. I did the Century pull-pull modification for the elevator. I also have the thrust bearing upgrade on it. The machine does FINE.

IF I had it to do all over again (which I just might) I would lean towards the new OS 91 C spec pumped engine. I have a friend that has now replaced his YS 91's with these OS motors.

The rotor tech 720's are nice blades. Start you setup with the mixing balls on the center position, black paddles. I too have the 3D fins on it.

Add fuel......and have a BLAST !

Welcome to the family.

There is fixin to be MORE PREDATOR gassers in the tub. It still won't take the sting out from you having one all along......but it WILL ease the pain !

What is the zip disk for? Wouldn't the magnet in the motor erase your disk sitting that close to it?

Multi-purpose tool. Flies heli or erases hard drives. The CIA could find a use for this. Actually it was just for size comparisons.

I've never seen an electric heli fly, does your motor have enough power for a PMAX to do 3D?
