I was just reading some posts on balancing the main rotor blades and using a koll balancer. I have a digital scale that measures to 10th's. Can't you just make the blades the same weight, or am I missing something. I am new to the hobby, so I'm probably missing something.

We also like to get the CG( center of gravity) the same . There is a cordwise CG and the more important spanwise CG. This is where the Koll comes in to play. Two blades can weigh the same, but one has the CG closer to the tip than the other. They will not "fly" the same.
