Hi-

I am interested in what would be the ideal head speed for a raptor 50 V2. I am installing a throttle Jockey on it and would like to see what the idela spped is, some people say 1650 others say more. Any info would be very helpful, thanks

Andres

Depends on what you like to do. There isn't 1 ideal headspeed. I like around 1800 for normal and idle up 1&2. The lower the headspeed, the less "sensitive" the cyclic controls will feel. The higher the headspeed the more sensitive the controls will be (until the heli explodes).

1800 to 1850 is a good point

I don't have mine tached, nor do I have a governer, but my headspeed is way up around 1850-1950 in IdleUp2, and I like the way the heli flys. Very smooth and stable, yet very quick and responsive, and I have lots of headspeed since my flying skills are not to the point where I can intentionally bog the engine...

For the way I like to fly which is a combination of sport and 3d, leaning
more to 3d, my headspeeds using a GV1 are, N 1600, I1 1700, I2 1880.
I use I1 for easy flying and aeros and I2 for the more demanding 3d and speed .
