Is the GY601/9251 combi really worth the extra $70 over the GY502/9253 combination?

If so, why? I won't be doing any hard 3D at all, mostly FAI.

Thanks in advance.

i think it's worth it... as of current, the best gyro on the planet...

tail lock is very important for FAI.

I am not the greatest pilot by any means but I can see the difference between the two. The 601 has incredible hold capabilities.

nearly all of the best equipment is designed for FAI or with FAI in mind... lots of money there.

I replaced my 401 in the Freya with a 601, and yes I could tell a difference in performance.
(By no means the 401/9253 is a bad gyro combo!!)

It may be high priced but still that doesnt need to make it expensive

'Hm now I just have to find out where to connect the GV1 sensor to the Jazz80 ESC.

I can actually get hold of a GY601/9251 combo cheaper from singapore than I can get a JR460T/810G combo locally.
