Hi all,
Just finished my new evo 50 and can honestly say the hardest thing involved in building it was putting the stickers on !. What a superb kit !
Its yet to fly, I was hoping for yesterday but the weather was too bad…. Can’t wait though……

Here’s a few pictures….

'tjk-heli notice your undercariage is on "backwards" but looks good'
- Yeh i know. I read somewhere here that it looks better and gets the skids more inline with the CofG. So i thought i would give it a go...

'didnt the battery pack fit in the tray?'
- Well yes initaly, but i found that the heli was tail heavy and didn't want to add any weight. After looking at it for a while and scratching my head i thought the battery tray looked like a very good crash box for the reciever so i swapped them around. It worked out very well and also give's you somewhere to loose all the extra slack in the wires

Its enoying about the weather (why do i live here !) but hopefully it won't be too long...

Andi G, what's the silencer you got on ? K+S ???

Hi,

K&S 1367
http://people.ee.ethz.ch/~gysian/rr/sceadu2.jpg sorry for the dark pic!

40-45mm diameter and 22cm long (not including the outlet) it has the size of a 60 muffler.

http://www02.so-net.ne.jp/~k-s/kand..._windw.cgi?1366

However my left side one came with the inlet the wrong way round (so it would be better for Ergo and other helis with rear facing engines). I haven't flown the heli yet. Seems to be an error at K&S...
I won't send it back to Japan tough. I'd rather dremel the inlet!

Here is the Sceadu next to the Nova.

http://runryder.com/helicopter/gallery/10802/ Here is another nice Sceadu with Hatori 540, another good exhaust option.

Regards,

Andi
