Lessons

Hi,

IMO, lessons are invaluable. Of course, haveing a compentent teacher is very important.

I visit Todd Bennett every 3 or 4 months. The two most important things he has taught me is saftey and heli set-up. Without the correct set-up, now matter how good you are, the model won't fly right.

Todd has saved me major dollars in cash repair by teaching me how to recover when I was in an unfamiliar attitude. In my first year of flying I went from a beginner to a very high end intermediate flyer with only one major crash. The money I spent on lessons saved me a lot more money in the long run because I had only one major crash and I could invest the money in FUEL.

Bennett pushes your flying skills each time you fly with him. The nice thing is after you fly he critques your flight and tells you exactly how you can improve your flying.

For example, the last time I scheduled time with Todd, Todd had me doing autos. He had me starting my auto inverted, doing an axial roll followed by three flips and I still had plenty of hang time left to land. I would not have attempted a manuever like this by myself. IMO, spending money on flying lessons is worth every cent.

Not only would i like to know that, my heli going to survive, but i dont want to run the risk of hurting anyone, last thing i want is to try a move and F****up and run the risk of injury to me or the other members of the field, since i started to work i visit at the fired at regular times everyone goes, therefore always more people there, people always comming out to the flight line behind me - since the Ron Kyle (rip) i am very cautious.

I just want to do what i want to do with max safety in mind, buti have had a lot of good answers - thanks........
